Eagles Head to Oregon Tech and SOU for Weekend Games

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - The NU women and men's teams boarded their charter today for the long road trip to Klamath Falls and Ashland, Ore., this weekend for key Cascade Conference games. Both teams face tough opponents in Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon on Friday and Saturday night.

The Eagles open tomorrow night with a doubleheader at OIT on Danny Miles Court when they take on the Hustlin' Owls. The women face an OIT team that received votes for the NAIA Top 25 and are currently 3-3 in CCC play and 14-4 overall. The Lady Owls posted two wins over Corban and Northwest Christian last weekend. NU is right below the Owls in the standings with a 2-3 record and 9-6 for the season.

The Eagle men take on a Husltin' Owl team with a similar scenario as the women--OIT is 3-3 in league play and the Eagles are 2-3, right below them in the standings. Tech is 10-6 for the year while the Eagles are 12-5 overall.

Saturday, the NU teams travel west to Ashland for a doubleheader with Southern Oregon. The SOU women are in second place in the CCC and sport a 4-2 league mark and a 13-2 season record. They are ranked No. 16 in the NAIA Top 25 poll released on Monday.
