Saints March In to Beat Eagles

Written by: Clayton Hashley

Kirkland, Wash. – Northwest University (3-6-4, 2-5-3 CCC) never led against Carroll College (6-5-1, 5-4-1 CCC), losing 4-1 at home for their fifth conference loss of the year.

Trent Siedenburg scored the Eagles' only goal of the match, heading in a cross from Kyler McIntosh in the 71st minute. The goal came after three straight goals from the Saints, and the Saints scored one shortly after, making the final score 4-1.

Sam Malouf, Paulo Georgiades, Camron Martin, and Jose Porras were Carroll's goal scorers.

Two red cards were given out in the first half of the game—Northwest's Dennis Kozorezov and Carroll's Kaden Connor.

Northwest head coach Gary McIntosh commented, "It was a tough today for us. I felt like the guys played hard, but we just could not get anything going consistently. We had some good play here and there, but it is just not enough. Tomorrow we get to honor our seniors, and it will be an emotional day for sure."
