Northwest head coach
Steve Bain commented, "The College of Idaho is a tradition-rich program and a benchmark for excellence in the Cascade Conference. For this reason alone, we knew it would take a great effort on our part to be competitive. From my perspective, I thought both teams played with great physical and emotional effort, and points were hard to come by. I was especially pleased, though, with our mental approach coming off a tough loss last night, and you have to credit our ladies for coming up with just enough plays when the match was on the line to earn the victory."
