BILLINGS, Mont. – Northwest University's men's soccer closed out their season this weekend losing to Rocky Mountain College 3-1. Rocky Mountain College is currently rank third in the Cascade Conference and showed their strength by scoring all three goals in the second half.

Payton Gunhus got the Eagles off to a great start by scoring in the 20
th minute of the game. This early lead sent the Eagles into halftime with positive energy, leading 1-0.
Rocky Mountain College (14-4, 10-3 CCC) held strong despite giving up the early goal. The Battlin' Bears kept a resilient attack on the Eagles, outshooting them 23 to 7.
Blake Dornay of Northwest University worked hard in the goal, collecting 9 saves on the day.

The experiences and wisdom gained through this difficult season will be taken with these players for a lifetime. God has a plan for these seniors, and I am excited to see where He leads them."
