Northwest head coach
Steve Bain remarked, "Evergreen has been playing extremely well, and we knew they would be a challenge on their home court. They have a lot of offensive weapons and did a nice job of keeping us off balance with their transition offense. We also struggled in serve-receive early in the match, but our ladies made some good adjustments, which allowed us to stabilize in serve-receive. Once we stabilized, we were able to side out consistently, and that was the difference in the match."
