Kat Sanchez with eight saves on the week without allowing one goal. For the weekend, the Eagles outscored their opponents 7-0. Regardless of the sport, playing three games in a week can be exhausting! Playing three soccer games in which the team wins or goes home can be extremely strenuous. The fact that these ladies played all week without letting up, stayed focused, and played without mistakes or mental errors shows the strength of a team who can accomplish great things!
Northwest University head coach
Bryan Chud recapped the game by stating, "Today was the absolute culmination of a lot of hard work and sacrifice, and this group of girls deserve everything they have achieved! I could not be more proud of them, as they gave everything they had and played with desire and determination as they have all week. Today we go home with the satisfaction that we have completed the job that we set out to accomplish at the start of the season."
