Kirkland, Wash. – Northwest University (10-8, 2-4 CCC) came up short against Corban University (10-4, 1-3 CCC) with a final score of 75-71.

Hussayn Ford stuffed the stat sheet for the Eagles with 15 points, 12 rebounds, six steals, and a block. Nick Navarro added 16 points on 3-5 shooting from deep, and Alex Smith added 11 points and four blocks.

After going down 22-12 midway through the first half, the Eagles put on a 12-1 run to take a one-point lead. They ended the half down 34-32. Northwest was never able to tie or take the lead in the second half, as Corban held onto their lead to finish the game on top.

Jeff Drinkwine commented, "It was a tough, hard-fought game. It came down to little things at the end. We have to keep battling and clean a few things up in order to win games like that."
