Kirkland, Wash. – Northwest University (10-8, 2-4 CCC) came up short against Corban University (10-4, 1-3 CCC) with a final score of 75-71.
Hussayn Ford stuffed the stat sheet for the Eagles with 15 points, 12 rebounds, six steals, and a block. Nick Navarro added 16 points on 3-5 shooting from deep, and Alex Smith added 11 points and four blocks.
After going down 22-12 midway through the first half, the Eagles put on a 12-1 run to take a one-point lead. They ended the half down 34-32. Northwest was never able to tie or take the lead in the second half, as Corban held onto their lead to finish the game on top.
