Written by: Clayton Hashley

Kirkland, Wash. – Northwest University (4-6-0, 3-1-0 CCC ) beat Warner Pacific University (3-6-0, 2-1-0 CCC) at home to get their third conference win of the year. They won 6-0.

The Eagles used a strong first half to overcome the Knights, scoring four goals in the first 45 minutes and six total in the game. The first goal came from Rylee Rassier in the 12th minute off an assist from Makenna Wheeler. Katie Michkiosky, Hannah Nicholson, Nadine Huff, Victoria Rice, and Bailey Travis were the Eagles' other goal scorers. Jubilee Zevenbergen saw her facilitating skills come alive, providing three assists for Northwest.

Northwest shot an incredible 35 times in the game, and their defense forced Warner Pacific into a mere two shots. A varied attack helped the Eagles as well, with 11 different Northwest players either scoring or assisting in the game.

Northwest head coach Bryan Chud commented, "There was an element of importance tonight as we lost to Warner Pacific last year, so it was very easy to motivate the team for this one. We played another good 90 minutes, got goals for 6 different players, moved the ball well, and defended intelligently. We are playing confidently, and I'm pleased with how we took care of business this weekend."
