Kirkland, Wash. – Northwest University (7-15, 4-8 CCC) lost to Oregon Tech (12-8, 6-4 CCC) after the Lady Owls pulled away from the Eagles in the fourth, with a final score of 64-54.

Sam Van Loo had an outstanding game in the loss, tallying 18 points, 13 rebounds, three blocks, and three steals, as well as shooting 4-4 from the free throw line.

The Eagles shot themselves out of the game, especially from distance, where they shot 3-19. Their overall field goal percentage was 36.2%. A balanced offensive attack from the Owls also hurt, with four different players scoring in double digits, led by Bailey Nelson's 16 points.

Ken Crawford commented, "This was a hard-fought yet disappointing loss for us. We're at the part of the season where we need to step up and make the big plays that are going to help us win games like tonight and games like tomorrow night when we take on Southern Oregon at 5:30 p.m."
