Salem, Ore. – Northwest University (11-14, 3-10 CCC) was gassed against Corban University (16-7, 7-6 CCC) after a tough game the night before and ended up losing 84-61.
After the Eagles got up early in the first, the Warriors went on an 11-0 run to gain the lead, which they held steadily for the rest of the night.
Nick Navarro led the Eagles in scoring with 14 points. Hussayn Ford added 11 points and nine rebounds, and Alex Smith got into the double digits with ten points.
Corban's AJ Hodges was a thorn in the flesh for the Eagles, nabbing twenty points and hitting four three-pointers. The Warriors as a team shot 53% from the field and 42% from the three-point line.
