KIRKLAND – Northwest cruised to its fourth win, beating Salish Kootenai Saturday, 127-65, to finish the Northwest Classic.
Tre Newman came off the bench to score 23 points in 16 minutes to lead the Eagles, who finished with six players in double-figure scoring.
Ryan Ricks had 19 points, Cesar Sandoval added 17, and
Tanner Davis, Hussayn Ford, and Jase Paulsen had 16 apiece. Ford got a double-double with a game-high 10 rebounds.
Christian Hakilimali had eight points, nine rebounds, and six assists.

The Eagles set the tone with a game-opening 18-2 run and had a 39-8 run midway through the first half. Northwest led 68-22 at the intermission.
Ricks kept the crowd in it in the second half, canning three three-pointers in 49 seconds.
The Eagles led by as many as 68 points on two occasions in the second half.
Now 4-0, the Eagles play a home exhibition against Hawaii Pacific Wednesday at 7 p.m. and then hit the road to play Linfield College in Oregon Sunday at 7.
