EUGENE, Ore. – Northwest ended the 2021 volleyball season in the Cascade Collegiate Conference quarterfinals Tuesday, falling at No. 23 Bushnell, 3-0.

The Beacons avenged an earlier home loss against the Eagles, 25-9, 25-18, 25-21.

"Congratulations to Coach Corwin and the Bushnell Beacons," said NU Head Coach Steven Bain. "They were on top of their game and pressured us from start to finish in every phase of the game. We wish them well as they advance. Our disappointment in the outcome, though, is softened by this group's relentless pursuit of improvement. They approached each and every day with a growth mindset, and I couldn't be prouder of the progress we made this season."

The tough first set saw the Eagles make 12 attack errors, but the team improved from there.

Abigail Broussard led the team with 10 kills with a .364 attack percentage, while
Kalei Kepler swung at a .625 rate with six kills in eight attacks.
Anna Saelens had 25 assists.

Kepler led the defense at the net with four blocks, with Broussard adding three.
Cristina Lorenz had 13 digs.

Northwest finished the season at 13-15.
