COLLEGE PLACE – Rayvaugn Bolton scored 27 points and dished five assists to lead Northwest to a 77-64 win over Walla Walla on Saturday.

Bolton knocked down 10 of 12 field-goal attempts and also led the team with five assists, five steals, and added five rebounds.

Connor Drinkwine added 17 points, and
Cole Langstraat came off the bench to lead the team with eight rebounds.

Jeff Drinkwine. "Our character displayed the ability to bounce back after a tough game the evening before. We were very excited about the bench contribution. Cole and Jason Brown were huge down the stretch, and

The Eagles used an 8-0 run to get a little early separation, 12-4, with 14:02 left in the first half. Drinkwine had five points, and
CaCoa Chatman added three in that string.

NU peaked its first-half lead at 32-25 on a Bolton three-pointer with 4:47 showing. Northwest led 38-25 at halftime.

The Wolves got no closer than 10 points, and the Eagles led by as many as 18 points in the second half.

Now 2-1 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference and 4-3 overall, the Eagles step outside of league action on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. exhibition at Seattle Pacific before returning home for a Saturday contest against Portland Bible.
