KIRKLAND – Northwest stretched its winning streak to four games Saturday with an 85-70 win over Multnomah.

"It was great to see everyone play today, and we showed some improvement since last night," said NU Head Coach
Ken Crawford. "We were more efficient on offense and made good adjustments on defense."

Andie Kristinat and
Livi Lindsey led NU with 14 points each, while
Grace Meza scored 12 points to lead a 41-point bench effort.

Sam VanLoo had eight points, 10 rebounds, and shared the assist lead with
Shelaine Lorenz with four.
Caitlin Monten blocked three shots.

The Eagles shot 53 percent from the field for the game.

Maddie Hill led MU with 11 points.

NU never trailed and got its first 11-point lead with 6:38 remaining in the second quarter on a three-pointer by Kristinat. The Eagles scored the last five points of the half to claim a 47-30 lead at intermission.

Northwest led by as many as 21 points on four different occasions in the second half.

Now 4-3, the Eagles play Thursday at the University of Puget Sound.
