"Today was one of those games when we went cold at the wrong time," said NU Head Coach
Ken Crawford. "We had eight scoreless possessions in a row in the fourth quarter and in a close game, that hurts. We thought they were good shots, we just didn't make them. We didn't take advantage of having taken the lead."
Â
Warner Pacific shot 57 percent in the fourth quarter to carry off the win.
Â
VanLoo led the Eagles with 31 points and 13 rebounds and Lindsey finished with 11 points.
Shelaine Lorenz led NU with seven assists ad
Grace Meza had four steals. VanLoo was 12-15 from the field.
Â
Lynden Harry paced the Knights with 21 points, Hannah Myers added 16 and Jackson scored 12.
Â
Now 14-11 overall and 8-10 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, the Eagles play at the College of Idaho on Friday and Eastern Oregon on Saturday.
Â
"We're still in contention for a playoff spot but we'd like to be in control of our own destiny," Crawford said.
