"I think we came in the game with tired legs, having played two games in three days, and it was tough on us playing a fresh team," said NU Head Coach Gary McIntosh. "They are No. 10 in the nation for a reason. Dalton was disciplined and capitalized on our mistakes. We will watch film, learn from the mistakes we made, and make adjustments. We are ready for conference games to begin this week."
Â
The Eagles had two shots on the day—Herrig's goal and a shot on goal by
Jacen Stein.
Â
Northwest returns to action this weekend with 3 p.m. home games against Southern Oregon on Friday and Oregon Tech on Saturday.
