Andrew Pasang headed a feed from Hunter Hoogerwerf just into the lower right corner in the 57
th minute to break the scoreless tie.

Brock Rideout scored with an assist from Kevin Rodriguez in the 66
th minute.

"Today was a tough one for us," said NU Head Coach Gary McIntosh. "We could not get anything going offensively, and it felt like everything was a struggle. We now turn our focus to the next game."

The Owls limited NU to five shots–all in the second half–and one shot on goal.

Alexander Theihofe took the loss for the Eagles despite turning away seven shots on frame.

Now 3-3-1 overall and 1-1 in the CCC, the Eagles head east to take on Rocky Mountain on Friday and Providence on Saturday in a pair of 2:30 p.m. contests in Montana.
