LA GRANDE, Ore. – Northwest and Jamestown played to a 1-1 draw Sunday afternoon.

After three consecutive shutouts, Northwest gave up a goal in the first half of the neutral field contest. The Jimmies got on the board first with a goal by Cassandra Diaz.

That 1-0 lead held up for 29
th-ranked Jamestown until
Gracie VanAssche scored in the 58
th minute.

The Eagles were outshot 14-4 for the game, with
Liv Lagerquist getting the only other shot on goal.

Hanne Breur recorded six saves to move to 3-0-1 on the season.Â

"We started slowly today and by giving up the early goal, put ourselves under pressure from the start," said NU Head Coach
Bryan Chud. "Jamestown played us very tough. They are a good and organized team, so I was pleased with our response in the second half, with Gracie taking her goal really well. We will learn from this game and reset for Vanguard on Friday."
