KIRKLAND – Northwest honored four seniors prior to closing its season with a 95-72 loss to Eastern Oregon on Saturday.
 
Honored at a ceremony before tip-off were Joose Lee, AJ Chappell, CaCoa Chatman, Drew Bryson and Danny Sharpe.
 
"I could not be more proud of what this group accomplished had they gone undefeated," said NU Head Coach Rick Skeen. "They bought in to everything I asked. They learned to sacrifice and love each other. They played hard despite the lack of wins. This group established the culture we want for years to come. I will always be thankful for their sacrifice and buy in to our program."
 
Isaiah Williams led the Eagles with 17 points and nine rebounds. Chappell added 15 and Chatman threw in 10. Lewis Pope led the Eagles with six assists.
 
Phillip Malatare led the Mountaineers with 28 points and six assists while Emmit Taylor scored 20 points and Malachi Afework added 15. Slade Dill led EOU with 11 rebounds.
 
The Eagles finish the season at 9-19.
