KIRKLAND, WA - Northwest men's soccer ties their fourth game of the season, 2-2.
The Eagles came out quickly to create several early chances to score but could not put any in the net. Corban scored the first two goals in the ninth and 48th minutes of the game.
Northwest scored its first goal in the 70th minute with a beautiful cross from Elliot Misic to Matt Ludlow who headed home his fourth goal of the season to bring NU within one. The Eagles kept pressing and had most of the possession. They were rewarded with the game-tying goal when Ludlow took the ball down to the end line and found Misic for his fifth goal of the season. The game finished in a tie, 2-2.
Corban outshot Northwest 19-16, with Michael Kot coming up with five saves.
Coach McIntosh comments, "This team never quits! They played hard today, battled to the end, and were rewarded with two great goals. I'm proud of them for showing strong character throughout the game and never dropping their heads and giving up. We are looking forward to playing next week at home again."
