NU got on the board first with a goal from Rachel Snow in the 31st minute. Both teams in the first half had chances to score but could not find any more goals. Shots were even in the first half, 6-6.  

In the second half, Corban controlled most of the game, outshooting Northwest 14-5. Corban tied the game in the 62nd minute. Neither team could find the game winner, and the game ended in a tie. 

Coach Van Assche commented, "It was a good game for us overall. Our possession play had improved, and our defense played well together. We had a lot of opportunities again in our attack. Looking forward to scoring more goals in the next couple games! Katie Snow in goal today came in clutch with quite a few great saves."
