PORTLAND, OR - Northwest closed out the 2023-24 season in Portland, Oregon, against a determined Warner Pacific University team who outscored the Eagles 93-58.
The Eagles had a tough night as the Knights came out of the gate hot. As they were able to find some momentum during the second half, Warner Pac did not let up and continued to make shots, maintaining its lead throughout the game.
"Tough way to end the season tonight," said NU Head Coach
Ken Crawford. "Warner Pacific played very well. When it's all said and done, however, this is a great group of young women to coach. I know they are going to be very successful in their future endeavors. Thanks to everyone for their great support this season!"
Grad student
Maya DuChesne led the Eagles with 15 points tonight.
Kylie Lunday followed close behind with 13, and
Alli VanKooten rounded out the group with 10.
Northwest finished the 2023-24 season with a 6-21 record overall and a 6-16 record in conference.
