CALDWELL, ID - In the first postseason appearance in four years, the Eagles faced No. 3 College of Idaho. As Northwest battled to stay in the game, the Yotes proved their rank as they advance to the conference semifinals, 103-60.
The Eagles struggled to find a rhythm all night as the Yotes settled into a groove on their home court. The College of Idaho quickly created a cushion for themselves that left the Eagles a big hole to climb out of.
Northwest was led by
Miciah Hagan with 20 points on the night.
Luke Howard followed closely behind with 17.
"We ran into a buzzsaw tonight," said NU Head Coach Rick Skeen. "Credit to C of I as they outplayed us tonight. It's always hard when it is over, but this team came a long way throughout the season and continued to lay the foundation for years to come. We will miss the seniors but are excited about the group coming back."
Northwest finished the season with a 8-21 overall record and 7-16 record in conference. Tonight's game marked the first playoff appearance under second-year Head Coach Rick Skeen.
