The Eagles remained within striking distance in the third, cutting the margin to 15-14 before the Owls pulled away. Trinity Godina recorded all four of her kills in the final set.
Aleksen Thayer and Tiffini Goss paced Oregon Tech with 10 kills apiece. The Owls hit .227 for the match, while Northwest finished at .124.
"Tonight was a draw from the service line, but we were unable to match Oregon Tech's first ball scoring and transition offense," said head coach Steven Bain. "We will regroup and look forward to celebrating our seniors tomorrow evening."
Northwest returns to Kristi Brodin Pavilion tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 31, to host Southern Oregon at 4 p.m. The match marks the Eagles' final home appearance of the season and will include Senior Night recognition.
