KIRKLAND, Wash. – Northwest University sophomore setter Katelyn Bogetti was named the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) Setter of the Week after helping lead the Eagles to their first conference wins of the season.
Bogetti, a sophomore from Ripon, Calif., helped Northwest earn back-to-back sweeps over The Evergreen State College and Warner Pacific University. Across the two matches, she recorded 65 assists, averaging 10.83 assists per set, along with 18 digs, seven service aces, two kills, and a block.
Head Coach Steven Bain praised Bogetti's continued development and leadership on the court.
"Katelyn continues to grow as a player and court leader, so to see her efforts rewarded is validation of the hard work and effort she has invested," said Bain.
The Eagles return to action Friday, Oct. 2, when they travel to Ashland, Ore., to take on Southern Oregon University at 6 p.m. PST.
