Northwest University is a member of the Cascade Collegiate Conference and the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) and have exceptional facilities for their competition in soccer, volleyball, basketball, cross country, and track & field.


Men's and Women's Soccer Field
Our men and women's soccer teams play on one of the finest natural grass surfaces in the west. Formerly the practice field for the Seattle Seahawks of the NFL, the field has exceptional drainage capabilities in wet weather making it an excellent surface for competition even in heavy rain

Men's and Women's Basketball and Women's Volleyball
Men and women's basketball and women's volleyball play in Kristi Brodin Pavilion, built in 1964. In the summer of 2012 major improvements were made including exterior paint, new entrance doors, an expanded lobby area, new bleachers and new glass backboards were installed.

Men's and Women's Cross Country
Men's and women's cross country trains on and around the NU campus and in Bridal Trails State Park, a beautiful setting just a short run from the campus and across and east of I-405 via a footbridge. Historical Lincoln Park in West Seattle is considered the team's home course and was the site of the 2008 Cascade Conference Championships which was hosted by Northwest University.

Men's and Women's Track and Field
The men's and women's track and field team trains both on campus and at nearby Lake Washington High School which is located northeast of the campus approximately 3 miles away. Lake Washington's track stadium and facility provides an outstanding training area for both the track and the field athletes.

Eagle Fitness Center
The Eagle Fitness Center provides approximately 2000 square feet of space for athletes, students and faculty. A full array of free weight, weight machines, and cardio equipment is available for their physical training. It is located on the lower level of the Barton Building and is the former weight room of the Seattle Seahawks.

* All buses and large trucks should use one of the three entrances on NE 53rd (south side of campus).
