Leif Anderson joined the Northwest men's basketball as a volunteer assistant prior ro the 2022-23 season.

He played at Whatcom Community College and was team captain as a sophomore in 2016-17. Anderson next played at Western Washington from 2017-20, earning the Coaches Award as a senior. He received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Western Washington in 2020.

A native of Bellingham, Anderson is a member of Christ the King Church Downtown there. He enjoys books, hiking, music, sports, and the outdoors.
