Liz Pearce joined the softball staff at Northwest as an assistant coach prior to the 2019-20 academic year.
Pearce played four seasons at NCAA Division I Samford, where she played shortstop from 2003-07. She was a two-year team captain and four-time Academic All-American. Her coaching experience includes baseball and softball camps for college students in China.
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in family studies in 2007 and expects to complete a master’s degree in ministry and leadership from Western Seminary in 2020.
A native of Cary, N.C., Pearse attends Doxa Church in Bellevue, where she has been director of Kids Ministry since 2017. She also has served as SAMBICA program director from 2013-17, in youth camp ministry and in YoungLife.
She enjoys playing Renton Sports Leagues, roller skating, snowboarding and playing softball, having been a part of the 2019 Washington State Champions in USSSA/GSL Women’s D Slowpitch.
