Long-time Northwest softball player Sam Parisio returns to the Eagles as the assistant coach for the 2022-23 season.
 
Parisio owns NU career records in games played, fielding double plays, assists, walks, and sacrifice bunts and is in the all-time top 10 in runs scored, hits, RBIs, total bases, stolen bases, sacrifice flies, and triples. She was Academic All-Conference in 2022.
