Why I chose NU: My senior pastor and youth pastor both attended Northwest, which sparked my interest in it and I chose to visit the school. I chose NU because I knew it was a place where my faith would improve and I could be surrounded by people who would help improve it. Northwest is full of amazing people and faculty and I’m blessed to be here.

Thoughts about softball and playing at NU: I have been playing softball for 17 years and have loved every second of it. I wanted a place where it wasn’t only a job, but still the sport I loved playing 8 years ago. Northwest has amazing women of faith on the team and they help me in my relationship with God. We play for Him and out field is our sanctuary. I don’t know about you, but I don’t know of a lot of places where you can play for something bigger than your coach or school.
