Playing Experience:
Micah lettered in soccer, softball, and track at Ironwood Ridge high school. For soccer her team finished 2nd in the 5A state championship. In track she competed in the 300m hurdles in state and placed 5^th and in the 4x400m relay. She played for Arizona Rush Soccer club and finished 3rd in state in 2007 2008 and played for Tucson Soccer Academy and won state in 2011.
 
Why NU:
After undergoing knee surgery the spring of my junior year of high school and missing the entire recruiting season that summer, I began my senior year with endless emails from coaches saying they had already filled their rosters and I was fully expecting that I wouldn't get the chance to play in college. That winter, my cousins suggested I apply to their school, NU. I emailed Erin Redwine, the head coach at the time, and she invited me to fly up to Washington to have a try out. We played indoor because of an unexpected snow storm and she offered me a scholarship on the spot. When all signs pointed to not playing soccer ever again, it some how all worked out. God had a plan.

My softball team won the little league world series in 2008
