Darah Vining joined the Northwest University women’s basketball coaching staff for the 2017-18 season as an assistant coach.
Vining, who served as a student assistant coach at the University of Great Falls until 2016, also assisted with the Y.E.A. AAU high school basketball team from 2015-17.
She played collegiately at Great Falls, graduating in 2017 with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. She is nearing completion of a master of education degree.
As a player, Vining helped the Argos to a pair of NAIA Quarterfinal finishes in 2014 and 2015. She was a team captain and earned two NAIA Player of the Week honors and was a second-team All-Conference selection. Vining also starred in the classroom, earning NAIA Scholar Athlete honors and Academic All-Conference.
A native of Federal Way, Vining attends Brooklake Church and enjoys music and photography.
