Scott Lane

Scott Lane came to Northwest as an assistant men’s soccer coach in 2014 and joined the women’s staff a year later.
 
In addition to his duties at NU, Lane is head soccer coach at The Overlake School and an assistant with Seattle Stars FC. He had previously served as the JV Head Coach at Overlake from 2014-17.
 
He guided The Overlake School to championships in 2017 and 2018, earning WSSCA Coach of the Year honors in 2018. He also has a pair of ECL Boys’ Soccer Coach of the Year honor to his credit.
 
Lane was a member of the Eagle soccer team as a goalkeeper after a year at Edmonds Community College. He earned All-Region Status at ECC.

Lane, who hails from Snohomish, earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from NU in 2014 and a CMA for Lake Washington Institute of Technology in 2017.
 
He attends Pathways Church and enjoys golf, paddle-boarding, skiing, hiking and puns.
