Kacie begins her fifth season on the Eagle volleyball staff after playing for NU and graduating in 2011. She was a four year starter for the Eagles as s middle blocker. In 2011, NU finished 4th in the conference and made their way to the semi finals in the CCC post season tournament. Simpson was ranked #11 in the NAIA in blocks per set in the 2010 season.

Kacie graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and spent two years coaching for the Bothell Volleyball Club.
