Adam Lynch was named Head Men's Basketball Coach at Northwest University after joining the Eagles’ coaching staff prior to the 2022-23 season. He brings nearly three decades of coaching experience at the collegiate, high school, and youth levels, with a passion for developing student-athletes on the court, in the classroom, and in their faith.
Lynch has collegiate coaching experience at Bethany University, where he served as a women’s basketball assistant coach in 1998-99, and Palm Beach Atlantic University, where he was a women’s assistant coach from 1999-2000 and a men’s assistant coach from 2000-03. Prior to joining Northwest, Lynch served as the head boys basketball coach at Cedar Park Christian (2008-22), leading the program to four state tournament appearances and earning four League Coach of the Year honors (2012-14, 2021). He has also served as an assistant coach for the Seattle Pro-Am in 2015 and 2016.
Lynch is the Founder and CEO of Hoops4HIM, a nonprofit youth basketball organization dedicated to developing athletes spiritually, mentally, and physically through the game of basketball. Through Hoops4HIM, Lynch has created a program centered on character development, faith, relationships, and helping young athletes discover their identity beyond basketball.
A former student-athlete at Simpson University (1994-98), Lynch earned the Men’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete Award in 1997 and served as team captain during his senior season. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Simpson in 1998, a Master’s degree in Leadership from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2002, and a Master’s degree in Teaching from Seattle Pacific University in 2007.
Lynch and his wife, Aimee, have four children: Trenton, Madison, Savannah, and Taylor. They reside in Bothell and attend Freedom Church Northwest.
