Emily Hatate joined the athletics department staff as operations coordinator in February 2022.
Hatate came to NU from Seattle Pacific University, where she served as an office coordinator from 2021-22. She also worked as the human resources coordinator at Winshuttle from 2019-20.
She played one season of college volleyball at Providence College in Rhode Island and graduated with a BA in sociology from Westmont in 2019. She went on to earn a master's degree in sport and performance psychology from California Baptist in 2021.
Emily and her husband, Ricky, reside in Redmond. She enjoys hiking, baking, and attending the games of Seattle-based sports teams.
