Erica Cox began her college coaching career at Northwest in 2020 and previously was a volunteer throws coach at Richland High School from 2012-14.
Cox earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Whitworth University in 2011 and a master of divinity degree from Seattle Pacific University in 2018.
She threw the hammer, shot put, and discus at Whitworth for four seasons, taking Northwest Conference championships and qualifying for NCAA Division III nationals in the hammer and discus.
Born and raised in southern Idaho, Cox spent eight years in pastoral ministry and now teaches for Seattle Public Schools.
