Ken Reidy joined the Northwest University men's basketball coaching staff prior to the 2026–27 season, bringing a lifelong passion for basketball, leadership, and mentorship.
Reidy graduated from Meadowdale High School in 1977, where he played basketball before continuing his playing career at Pacific Lutheran University. He graduated from PLU in 1982 and has remained actively involved in the game throughout his life.
In addition to his playing experience, Reidy spent many years coaching youth sports. He has enjoyed helping young athletes develop their basketball fundamentals while emphasizing teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and character development.
Beyond basketball, Reidy enjoyed a distinguished career spanning more than four decades as an accountant, auditor, CPA, controller, and chief financial officer. He retired in 2026 after helping guide Cornerstone General Contractors through a period of significant growth and organizational development. Reidy's professional experience has reinforced the values he brings to coaching: preparation, accountability, perseverance, and servant leadership. He believes athletics provide an important opportunity to teach life lessons that extend well beyond the court.
Reidy and his wife, Vera, reside in Edmonds, Washington. They have two sons, Ben and George.
