"
The team was really focused this evening from the pregame message by Leia Roy to the final points by Alysanne Van Dyke," commented Steve Bain, NU head coach. "Oregon Tech surprised us a little with a different offensive scheme than we had seen on tape but we adjusted well and played tenaciously on defense.  I think one of the other factors was our ability to serve tough and keep them out of rhythm and it was nice to see all of our servers scoring points.  Offensively, we were balanced at the pins and Hannah Hanson had a great effort in the middle."

Northwest U remains at home and will host No. 9 Southern Oregon tomorrow night while Oregon Travels to Olympia to face the Evergreen State College.
