Big Eagle Comeback Defeats RMC

Jubliee Zevenbergen scored two goals including the game winner.
Box Score BILLINGS, Mont. – Jubilee Zevenbergen's goal in the 83rd minute lifted the Eagle to a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over Rocky Mountain College tonight on Herb Klindt Field.

After taking a 1-0 lead in the 38th minute on Winter Wirkkala's penalty kick, Rocky Mountain came back with three straight goals to take a 3-1 lead in the 60th minute on Brittany Greenback's penalty kick into the left side of the goal.
 
But the Eagles would come back strong less than two minutes later when Zevenbergen would score the first of her two goals at the 61:33 mark unassisted to cut the Battlin' Bears' lead to 3-2.
 
Makenna Wheeler would tie the game in the 65th minute as she would take Kortney Hudak's pass and put it passed the RMC goalkeeper to make it a 3-3 game.
 
The defenses would take over for the next 18 minutes until the 83:00 mark as Zevenbergen would score the game winner coming up the middle for the score.
 
Lauren Hellum earns the win in goal for Northwest U (9-4-1, 5-2-1 CCC) making 5 saves for the game. Zevenbergen led NU with 4 shots, 3 on goal and 2 scores.
 
Rocky Mountain (7-7, 4-4 CCC) outshot NU 13-9 with Brittany Greenback taking 5 of those shots, 3 on goal with one score and an assist. Lia Unterholzner takes the loss in goal for the Bears making 4 saves for the 90 minutes of play.
