NU head coach, Steven Bain commented, "College of Idaho is a championship program that always plays at a high level so we knew going into this match we would need maximum physical and emotional energy to stay with them. After a hard fought match last night, we demonstrated resilience to bounce back with another strong effort, which is a sign this group is continuing to grow. It doesn't get any easier, though, because we have two great programs coming into our gym next week so it's important that we devote our energy and thoughts to maximizing our preparation this week."

Northwest U hosts Northwest Christian and Corban University next Friday and Saturday in more Cascade Conference play.
