NU Volleyball Home Opener Tonight

Talons Up! Eagle Game Day

KIRKLAND, Wash. - It's the home opener for the NU volleyball team tonight as they play their first Cascade Conference match in the Pavilion. The Eagles will be hosting Walla Walla University at 7 p.m.

NU was 6-2 in preseason play going 3-1 in both the Summer Slam and Big Sky Challenge tournaments and they are off to one of their best starts for an Eagle team since the 2006 season.

Walla Walla is 0-1 in the CCC season as they opened play last night in Olympia, losing a 3-1 match to the Evergreen State Geoducks. The Wolves are 1-4 for the season.

*For NU students, the first 150 arriving for the game will receive a free t-shirt. SAB will begin handing them out at approximately 6:45 p.m. and there will be music outside the Pavilion. Come out and support your team!
