Springfield, Ore. – Northwest University (10-8-2) beat the College of Idaho (10-5-3) in the Cascade Collegiate Conference semifinals with a final score of 4-0. This win secured the Eagles' entrance into the national tournament!

The Eagles' first goal came from Katie Michkiosky, who added to her NU record-breaking total with her 20th goal for the season. Jubilee Zevenbergen assisted Michkiosky's goal and 26 minutes later put in a goal of her own. The goal came from 20 yards out, hitting the bottom right corner of the net, with the assist coming from Hannah Nicholson.

In the second half, Jaclyn Metz tapped in a pass from Michkiosky for the Eagles' third goal of the game. To finish off the scoring for the match, Olivia Morris hit a 30-yard bomb that hit the upper post and bounced in, with the assist coming from Whitney Weaver.

Northwest head coach Bryan Chud remarked, "Tonight, we again put in a very complete performance. We had to battle the entire game, as COI never gave up. The girls did a good job of moving the ball quickly, applying pressure, and executing well. We scored four very good goals as well, and I am extremely proud of the entire squad. They are getting what they deserve after what has been at times a frustrating season. Now we'll turn our focus to the final on Saturday."
