KIRKLAND, Wash. – Northwest University (4-11 overall, 1-4 CCC) women's basketball spreads the game out in the fourth quarter to win 83-70 over the Evergreen Geoducks (0-9 overall, 0-5 CCC).
It was a four-point game until the Eagles hit a hot streak, shooting 78% from the field during the fourth quarter (47% on the night) and bringing in 26 points to extend the game to a 13-point spread. Miranda Langenhorst led the Eagles with a double-double (19 points and 14 rebounds). Alyx Fast, a sophomore from Chehalis, Wash., added to the Eagles' scoring with 15 points and 5 rebounds.
Evergreen split their scoring between Anna Cook and Alexcis Higginbotham, each scoring 20 points. Cook finished the night with a double-double with 12 rebounds.
