Northwest head coach
Bryan Chud explained, "We got the perfect start to conference play today. NWC set up strong defensively, so we had to work hard to break them down. Shay scores a great header off a corner, and then Steph hit a great goal with time running out in the half. We pressured well as a team from start to finish, executed well, and Katie's second half hat trick put the gloss on our efforts. I am extremely proud of the effort and the quality we displayed today. It was the culmination of a lot of hard work the girls have put in the past 6 weeks, and I'm excited to build off it!"
