Kirkland, Wash. – Northwest University (6-14, 3-7 CCC) used a great second and third quarter to overcome Walla Walla University (6-14, 3-7 CCC) with a score of 93-46.
The Eagles were up by five at the end of the first quarter. They outscored the Wolves 26-8 in the second quarter, and 26-8 again in the third quarter to pull away for the blowout win.
Northwest's Miranda Langenhorst scored 12 of the Eagles' first 15 points to put her team into gear. Langenhorst finished with 21 points and 12 rebounds, shooting 9-10 from the field. Andie Kristinat added 21 points as well, hitting four three-pointers.
