Caldwell, Idaho – Northwest University (10-10, 2-6 CCC) went down early against No. 1 College of Idaho (16-2, 5-1 CCC) and could not finish the comeback effort, losing 81-74.
An early 13-2 run by the Yotes put them up for good, ending the first half up 36-26. Northwest fought back in the second half, coming to within four points with two minutes left in the game after a layup from Hussayn Ford. The Yotes responded with five consecutive points and two defensive stops to finish their win.
Hussayn Ford had a monster performance for the Eagles, dropping 27 points and 18 rebounds in his 13
th straight double-double game.
Josh Meyer and Nick Navarro also scored in double digits, with 17 and 12 apiece. Navarro added six assists, as well.

Jeff Drinkwine commented, "I couldn't ask for a better effort from these guys. They really played hard. When we're playing the top team in the country, though, every possession counts, and we had a few possessions that we did not convert. It's definitely something to build on with this great group of young men."
