Eagles Fall at Olympia

OLYMPIA – Northwest suffered a 3-0 setback at the hands of Evergreen State Saturday, ending a season-long scoring streak.

"It was not a good day for us today," said NU Coach Gary McIntosh. "We will get back to it Monday as we prepare for a long road trip on Thursday."

The Eagles were shut out for the first time in 14 games, dating back to a loss nearly a full calendar year ago.

NU had 10 shots in the game, including three on goal. Gian Herrera and Kyle Han had two shots apiece. Elliot Misic, Dmitry Zorchenko, and Leon Bormann each had one shot on goal.

Alexander Thiehofe had three saves for the Eagles.

Now 7-6-1 overall and 4-4-1 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, the Eagles play Friday at Eastern Oregon and Saturday at College of Idaho to complete the final regular-season road trip.
