KIRKLAND – Northwest comes home this weekend for important Cascade Collegiate Conference matches against teams ahead of them in the league standings.

The Eagles take on No. 3 Eastern Oregon at 7 p.m. on Friday and No. 21 College of Idaho at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

With 2.36 blocks per game, the Eagles are 15
th in the NAIA as a front line.
Abigail Broussard is fourth in the Cascade Collegiate Conference and 24
th in the nation with 1.13 blocks per game, and
Kylie Szczepanski is No. 29 and sixth in the league at 1.11.

Northwest is ranked 25
th in hitting percentage in the NAIA at .224.
Keann White carries a .277 average and is ranked second in the CCC.

NU averages 1.87 aces per set to lead the Cascade Collegiate Conference. That mark is No. 46 in the NAIA. Broussard, who also is No. 33 in the individual category, leads the team with 0.5 aces per game. Broussard leads the CCC with her 37 aces and aces-per-game average.Â

Hannah Lord has 205 kills and leads the Eagles with 2.85 kills per game. Lord is fourth in kills per set in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.
Keann White (2.25) and Abi Broussard (2.21) also average multiple kills per game.

Courteney Carr and
Anna Saelens have shared the set-up duties this season, with Carr leading with 477 total and 6.19 assists per game. Carr is sixth in the league in assists per game. Saelens averages 4.28 assists per set.

Cristina Hegarty leads the Eagles and is fifth in the conference with 4.35 digs per game and records 322 of the team's 1054 digs this season.

Eleventh-ranked Eastern Oregon is 23-1 overall and 13-1 in the conference. The Mountaineers have rolled off 12 consecutive wins, including three victories against Top 25 teams. EOU is third in the nation in blocks per game at 2.7. Cambree Scott (1.4) and Jet Taylor (1.2) are Nos. 1 and 2, respectively, in the CCC and fifth and 10
th nationally in the blocks-per-game category. Kiley McMurtrey leads the conference at 5.2 digs per game. Megan Bunn leads the team with three kills per game.Â

Eastern Oregon knocked off the Eagles 3-0 in La Grande last month and own a three-match win streak in the series. Lord had nine kills, and
Hannah Michaels added 16 digs for NU. The Mountaineers were led by Bunn with 16 kills. Madison Pilon added 35 assists, and Scott got seven blocks.

College of Idaho is 14-7 overall and 9-5 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after a 3-0 win at Walla Walla last week. Abigail Guinn leads the league with 9.77 assists per game. Jordyn Boswell averages 3.11 kills per game. Defensively, Drew Dobney leads the team with 4.88 digs per game, and Jade Warren averages .85 blocks per set.

The Yotes scored a 3-1 win over Northwest in September. White had 15 kills, Carr contributed 24 assists, Hegarty brought up 19 digs, and Michaels served six aces for NU. Ashley Pagan had 18 kills to lead CI, with Guinn getting 47 assists.
