CALDWELL, Idaho – Northwest allowed just eight shots but came away with a 2-1 overtime loss at College of Idaho, ending the school-record winning streak at 13 games Saturday.

"We lost a tough one today," said NU Head Coach
Bryan Chud. "I felt like we did enough to win the game, but credit to COI, they hung in there and ground out the result. We will learn from this and move on for the final weekend of the season next week."

The Eagles trailed 1-0 when Brynna Herridge scored in the 25th minute.

Northwest tied the game in the 73rd minute with a goal by
Callie Wright, but the Eagles were dry in 23 other shots, including 10 other shots on goal.

Brooklyn Ruew scored the game winner with 44 seconds left on the overtime clock.

Rylee Rassier had nine shots and Wright eight in the game, with five shots on goal from both players.

Kat Sanchez had three saves.

The Eagles finish the regular season next week with home games against Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon. Both are noon starts Friday and Saturday.
